ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
Brian Scott (center) of Aggie Technologies challenged the Bull City Business Leaders BNI chapter (RD27) to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in honor of fallen member Ann Jaeger, who succumbed to Lou Gehrig’s disease in May of 2012. Joining him were Bill Lindenmuth of Higher Rock Education and Megan Jurgens of Megan’s Mobile Spa. Jurgens also dedicated her chilly splash in memory of her late friend Susan Secker Palmari who died in 2010 from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” a progressive neurodegenerative disease. The group decided to partake in the challenge at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, aka DBAP, which was apropos of the disease’s connection to baseball.
